Mahapurush Sankardev: As said in the Gita ‘Yada yadahi dharmasya glanirbhavati bharatae abhyuthanamdharmasya tadatmanang srijamyaham…..Sambhabami yuge yuge’… it is believed to have Sankardeva in the history of Assam as another incarnation of lord Vishnu.
